@Thierry Caro: The template now accepts either the currently used name/number ID format (nathan+brown/13940) or just the number (13940). This applies to IDs specified by a template parameter and IDs read from the associated Wikidata property AustralianFootball.com player ID (P3546). The template's documentation was also updated.
