Weird[edit]

why is it that they keep putting dangerously in love in "other songs" ??? if you ask me, it should be for singles that she guest stared in.

Green Light[edit]

"Green Light" is an confirmed single...so it should under "singles".

format[edit]

i know that there have been some arguements over the format of this info box but the fact is that format is alot bigger then the one i want it to be. plus the infoboxes of several other beyonce related articles use this same exact format. i dont see the problem of leaving it as is. 24.61.65.220 02:52, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The format that this template is continually changed to does not follow the standards set here at Template:Navbox musical artist. The current format is more in line with the standards of that page, while the bigger format does not follow the standards. Acalamari 02:58, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Note that the format you just changed the page to does not follow the standards. All because other templates follow the wrong format doesn't mean this template should follow the wrong format. Acalamari 03:00, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Singles, non-singles and appearances[edit]

I would like to suggest that singles should be separated with non-singles and appearances (whether its a single or not). --Efe (talk) 09:44, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Fourth studio album[edit]

You can't post 'Fourth Studio Album' (2010-2011) or TBA (2010-2011) in the template. Once an article for the fourth studio album has been created, then you can add it. It has not been confirmed yet when the album will be released. ozurbanmusic (talk) 20:37, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It isn't really a tour, it is a residency. Maybe we can move it to related topics? I Help, When I Can. [12] 03:49, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well... it's a concert show. Maybe we should rename the section? Adabow (talk · contribs) 05:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Concerts, Concerts and Shows, Tours and Revues, etc. I Help, When I Can. [12] 20:04, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Tours and revues seems OK to me. Adabow (talk · contribs) 05:00, 3 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Live and video[edit]

I think we should merge the live and video albums sections (like this). There is pointless duplication which the current layout. —Andrewstalk 21:56, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Video Album is video album, Live albums are live albums, are diferents types. The beyoncé concerts are released in different types, DVD and CD/DVD or other. The combination of video and live albums would confuse the reader about it. B'Day Anthology Video Album is totally diferent of the I Am... World Tour, combiner this, is wrong. Silencio faz bem (talk) 22:05, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, why not remove the live albums from the video album category? The current format, in my opinion, is even more confusing. —Andrewstalk 22:11, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I also find confusing. The question is, what format to use. For they were only released on DVD, and deluxe versions on CD/DVD.
  • Live at Wembley was released in DVD/CD only.
  • The Beyoncé Experience Live was released in DVD, and digital download.
  • I Am... Yours was released in DVD, digital download and CD/DVD (deluxe edition).
  • I Am... World Tour was released in DVD, digital download and CD/DVD (deluxe edition).
What format to use, Standart or Deluxe version? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Silencio faz bem (talkcontribs) 22:19, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Their formats are irrelevant in this navbox. They are all live albums, yes? So include them in the live section only or combine the two sections. —Andrewstalk 22:37, 5 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Actually Andrew, the time you were not here, there has been much discussion going on about live albums and video albums. It all happened because unlike other singers, Beyonce does not release a CD of all her live recordings, which at the end of the day make them only a video albums. You can watch and listen to them but there are no audio CDs. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 04:49, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I understand and accept that (although I disagree), but that is irrelevant; there is still no need to duplicate the listings of those "live and video" albums (eg I Am World Tour) as is the current situation. [1] is an easy fix. —Andrewstalk 04:57, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I know it's irrelevant but you know how Wikipedia can be boring at times. I even had to move all those live albums to Beyonce's videography. Lol. Actually, those albums normally chart on DVD charts for Beyonce but if you see other artists like Gaga or Adele, they make the album charts. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 05:03, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Even so, there's no need for them to be listed twice in the navbox. It's confusing and cluttering. —Andrewstalk 05:11, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe. However, I did not oppose as I feel it's nice to help readers distinguish among a video-only album, live-only album and both video-live albums. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 05:19, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Readers can work that out from the articles themselves. I find the current more confusing with the duplicated listings. Also note WP:NAV: "Avoid repeating links to the same article within a template." —Andrewstalk 07:34, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Okay but we need to find a way to sort this out in the discography as well. Jivesh1205 (Talk) 07:49, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Rise (Beyonce's New Fragrance) in the retail section of the page. 24.79.82.144 (talk) 04:51, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The fragrance needs to have its own article on Wikipedia to be added to the navbox. Mayast (talk) 07:39, 11 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: per Mayast. Smtchahal (talk) 13:15, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A page has been created. Beyoncé Rise

Semi-protected edit request on 2 May 2014[edit]

Please insert Beyonce Rise into the retail heading, as this is a new fragrance with images, an ad campaign, and numerous legitimate references. Thank you. ArchArch1 (talk) 15:13, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done As explained above, No article = No inclusion and there is currently no article for Beyoncé Rise, or Beyonce Rise - Arjayay (talk) 17:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
