University[edit]

I hope this isn't wandering in services area. I added university as it is served by a large number of trains on the Cross Country Route. -- Simply south (talk) 17:08, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

But do the (long distance) Cross Country trains stop at University? I was under the impression only the (Birmingham) Cross-City service (which has its own route map) stopped there, hence the reason why I removed several of the minor stations not used by long distance services. If you so wish, I can dig out the atlas and add all the stations between York and Bristol/Cardiff, but in my opinion that would make the template very large. --Stewart (talk) 17:33, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oops - found University has now joined the Cross Country route (Nottingham - Cardiff trains) - part of the ex-Central Trains services. --Stewart (talk) 17:39, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
OK. They do run at University it seems every about 2 hours. I've also readded but as a branch the cross-city line. Btw, when you half undid my edit, it made Redditch appear but as though trains only ran out of and back the station without gong anywhere! -- Simply south (talk) 18:02, 16 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cadbury Railway and Wharf[edit]

Should this line be in blue (as in tramway/light railway)? Useddenim (talk) 05:26, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I honestly don't know. If it should be, it'll need editing at Birmingham to Worcester via Bromsgrove Line too. -mattbuck (Talk) 12:05, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Size[edit]

This template needs to be cut down significantly. It's supposed to be transcluded to Cross Country Route, but that fails, which means that the template instead shows as a bluelink at the top-left of the lead section; and it also puts the page into Category:Pages where template include size is exceeded. --Redrose64 (talk) 15:46, 10 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated all BSicons (and also textual links), and introduced as many complex icons as possible; and more significantly, replaced all {{BS3||ICON||...}} with {{BS|ICON|...}}. This proved enough for the template to be transcluded properly into the article; however, it still gets some navboxes bluelinked instead of transcluded. YLSS (talk) 20:53, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
It was exceeding the limits again. Having previously removed all of the secondary navigation-boxes, I've resorted to substituting this template in Cross Country Route. So anytime this template is updated (hopefully not too often), it will need to be re-substituted. – Wbm1058 (talk) 20:31, 7 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Moseley[edit]

Why does the route plan show Moseley between Five Ways and Granville Street? Surely the line never went anywhere near Moseley, which is a couple of miles away from both those stations, on a completely different line.--Shantavira|feed me 11:53, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly left over from when this RDT included the Camp Hill route (some Bristol-Manchester services go that way, in order to avoid reversal at BNS). I removed it --Redrose64 (talk) 14:36, 11 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
