@Bruxton firstly thank you, I'm very glad you like the article.

On WP:CLOP I agree the sentence was a bit close, so I've done some digging and found a second source which has allowed me to re-write it in a way which doesn't closely paraphrase either source. It now reads "...an English garrison which was supplied with white material from Ireland and white stockings to use as winter camouflage." I'd suggest changing the end of the hook to "...were supplied with white material and stockings to use as winter camouflage", what do you think? A.D.Hope (talk) 01:36, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@A.D.Hope: I did not think it was serious enough to worry. I usually call out small things prior to promotion make the administrator who promotes to queue aware that I am checking thoroughly.
