Please keep Other games as Spin-Off series[edit]

I've been getting mail saying that the template is incorrect and confusing and they suggested me to change Other games to Spin-Off series to keep the template simple and straight to the point. And they also said to me to other editors "Please do NOT change until further notice." Darkness2005 22:11, 3 June 2011 (UTC)

Uh, okay, but again, whom? This is an open wiki and a non-protected template, who's going to tell you to change the template to their liking and still have the authority to protect it via proxy wiki user? Template layout[edit]

You're ignoring intermediate updates. Please don't instantly revert. Please keep Other games as Spin-Off series. And also use Updated template to update it. (Added by 81.135.120.156)

That was added by an anon using the same language as my edit comment. That is NOT me as anon 81.135.120.156, who appears to be User:Darkness2005. As for changing it based on "I want", please discuss it here because that too is pretty much a violation of WP:OWN. Your reverts ignore other changes not related to the development article location. My changes explained:

Duke Nukem 64 does not have a dedicated section in the article, it's only mentioned in a list of DN3D ports. No reason to give this precedence over the other ports.
Do we need the non-linked games in here as well? Especially now since there's a List of Duke Nukem media page?
Removing the "Duke Nukem" from the titles. This is fine with subtitled games, but I really, really hate clicking on single or double characters (e.g., II) when there's plenty of room for the full name.
Development article would be better suited near the game's article link, but I've now moved it to a section on non-game articles as a compromise. How's that?
