Please do not change the first sentence. There is currently a discussion at Talk:Jerusalem/2013 RfC discussion about this, so please the leave the current text alone in the meantime.
Various users have been editing Jerusalem's first sentence to address alleged POV concerns, which the current RfC is meant to address. Therefore, the sentence should not be changed until consensus is reached at the RfC. -- Ypnypn (talk) 00:57, 21 May 2013 (UTC)
