Edit request[edit]

Could this notice re-use some of the language previously in a comment at Shinto in popular culture? I suggest the following (additions in italics, deletions struck through).

Make additions to this page discerningly. Please refer to Wikipedia:"In popular culture" content as well as Wikipedia:Trivia and Wikipedia:Original research to ensure that this article maintains only quality content and doesn't become a laundry list of every reference to Shinto. Focus on deities, stories, and themes in Shinto and its representation of the religion in popular culture. rather than listing every instance.
Remember this is supposed to inform people, not just be a platform for shout outs to our favorite games, movies, anime, manga or pop culture. Be sure to include a reliable third-party source that discusses the popular culture element you are adding and notes its relationship to Shinto. Unsourced material may be challenged and removed.
