EDSA/Quezon Avenue station query[edit]

Upon review of some documentation, I have to wonder why "EDSA" is being named as station name in the proposed Line 8 instead of the namesake "Quezon Avenue" (Lines 3 and 9) wherein it could be an interchange in the near future. For the time being, I have named initially as "EDSA-Quezon Avenue" on the map infographic. Hopefully, there would be clear rules on naming the interchange station (similar to Araneta Center-Cubao Interchange and North Avenue Grand Central Station) to avoid confusion.

Hi @DearPaulPH:, names are based usually on the bisecting roadway or landmark. Given that Line 8 is traversing Quezon Avenue and is bisecting EDSA in this location, the station name is EDSA. I have proposed a new naming scheme for all railway station articles here. Thanks! Korean Rail Fan 04:17, 20 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
