Justification of "Important figures"[edit]

Naturally, as the Storm's history gets longer, these individuals' importance may become diluted and subject to discussion.

John Ribot[edit]

Basically the driving force behind the setting up of a team in Melbourne[1].--Jeff79 (talk) 09:10, 6 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Matt Geyer[edit]

Most appearances and most tries for club combined with playing in the club's first two grand final wins..--Jeff79 (talk) 23:23, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Craig Bellamy[edit]

Most games as coach combined with taking club to four consecutive grand finals and two of their three premierships, earning him selection as NSW coach and recognition as the NRL's best coach.--Jeff79 (talk) 23:23, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Cameron Smith[edit]

Most seasons as captain (has also captained Queensland and Australia during this time) including four consecutive grand finals (suspended in 2008 though), including two of the club's three premierships combined with being club's all-time top point-scorer.--Jeff79 (talk) 23:23, 26 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Affiliations[edit]

The Melbourne Storm have ended both of their affiliations with Norths Devils and the Central Coast Storm and will be putting their own team in the NSW Cup next season (2010).

However I think it's only sensible to keep the Central Coast Storm article linked, as we've done for the NQ Young Guns on the NQ Cowboys template. Bongomanrae (talk) 07:56, 28 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
