Here are my thoughts:

  1. I had to start by figuring WHAT the line was, let's see if I get this right:
    • A standard gauge line from SSS to ALBX, it carries the Albury-Wodonga V/Line rail service and continues as the Main Southern railway line and later the Main Suburban railway line.
    • A broad gauge line from SSS to CGB (carrying the Craighieburn line service), SEY (Carrying the Seymour line service) and SHP (Carrying the Shepparton service). The line (apparently without service) goes further to Tocumwal where it becomes the Tocumwal line after a break of gauge.
  2. I can totally put it on three icons wide (or at least with a more centered alignment), maybe four if we include the Shepparton line, but we can have it as a separate map in a {{BS-map}}.
  3. I don't think the interruption stuff works. I think the better option is to put all the details on this template (including the Shepparton "line" which is only a branche relative to the standard gauge section now), and put the less detailed versions into the service articles (only the Craighieburn one will need to be updated).
  4. There is at least one thing missing: from its article, the Albion-Jacana merges into the Craighieburn (where precisely I cannot tell), but that was not in the original version's icons either. We should add it
  5. The "end of service" notes would be IMO best served by the   (eGRENZE) series of icons.
