It lists the Scottish parties- such as the Scottish Liberal Democrats that do not appear on the UK list. Thunderwing 07:36, 2 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pre 1707 'Parties'[edit]

I am not sure that it is worth including things like the Squadrone Volante and the Kirk Party which were not political parties in the modern sense of the term, but unofficial factions in the Scottish Parliament (and to an extent the wider governing classes) whose membership was very fluid.
