Perhaps because Chaotix's two character ring system is so different from every other game which do not have it? Furthermore, there is a proposal at Template talk:Sonic games#Proposed inclusion criteria that would put Shadow in the main template. —davidh.oz.au 08:44, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
How is Sonic and the Secret Rings a Spin-Off Title?

I don't remember hearing Yogiro Ogawa specifically saying "Sonic and the Secret Rings is a spin-off Sonic game". He only said the storyline is different. No more, no less. -87.231.185.217- 13:10, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
Pico and Schoolhouse[edit]
Shouldn't Tails and the Music Maker, Sonic's Gameworld, and Sonic Schoolhouse be added to this list? They need to be in some list, and I don't think they deserve their own template.
Brawl[edit]
I wouldn't include Brawl as a spin-off. It's mainly a Nintendo game, and Sonic's character is little more than a cameo. The game itself isn't a spin-off, it merely features Sonic. That's different because the Olympic Games main stars are Mario and Sonic characters. Meanwhile, there is no particular main character in Brawl, it's the same reason why it is not added in the Metal Gear, Legend of Zelda, etc. in other templates. Magiciandude (talk) 03:24, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
