The OSE Class 560 (Name: Stadler GTW 2/6, also known as Railbus) is a series of DMUs with 2 coaches, operated by TRAINOSE. They were built by a consortium of Hellenic Shipyards-Stadler-Bombardier and put into service at OSE in 2003. They look like the Class 4501, but their main difference is that the 560 is in the standard gauge, while the 4501 in the metric gauge, have the same capacity, speed, faces and manufacturers while being DMUs with two coaches, usually coupled with another carriage.
In total, there are 24 such trainsets, numbered 560 101 to 560 917. They hold up to 125 passengers, 12 in the 1st class and 113 in the 2nd. They have a MTU 12V 183 TD 13 engine of 550kW and reach speeds of up to 115 km / h. Furthermore, these trainsets are air-conditioned.
Route[edit]
Class 560 trainsets are used on long-distance trains on the Paleopharsalos-Kalampaka line as well as on local trains on the Lianokladi-Stylida line.

2000s:[edit]
OSE proceeded to order trains from the consortium Hellenic Shipyards - Bombardier - Stadler. in order to meet the needs of the Suburban. Altogether, 17 standard gauge DMUs with 2 coaches were delivered. The Multi Diesel Unit in the presence of a diesel engine / generator in the middle of each unit does not prevent the passage of passengers and has full autonomy and movement in both directions.
Railbus has the ability to couple up to three coaches.
Today[edit]
Initially, it was on every line of the suburban railway of Athens and the line Leianokladi-Stylida, until the gradual electrification of the suburban lines. They then retired and moved to the Paleoparsalos-Kalambaka line
