Addis Neger is an Ethiopian daily news website published in Maryland, USA for world wide Ethiopian audience. The largest metropolitan web site for Ethiopian diaspora around the world. Founded August 4, 2006, the news website has rated No 1 Ethiopian news web site in 2008.

History

The original AddisNeger was founded in 2005 by two political science students in Ethiopia. After the government arrest one of the member the other member fleed to USA and established this website in 2006 to inform the political and social situation in Ethiopia. The name of the memebers purposely hidden until one of the founder release from ethiopia prison.
