This is an edit that I didn't make, I am just keeping it here in case I might be able to put it somewhere.

I have put a mirror in a dish of water and reflected sunlight on a wall and seen violet along with a nice spectrum of other colors. If that violet is amplified by some means such as the some power of the frequency, then won't it become more visible? The science in this article seems to violate Newton's principle of experimental evidence.Anothersamespace (talk) 15:53, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
