This is the user page for Blake Adelman. I was born in San Diego, CA, and currently live in Boston, MA. I study music production and jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Along with music, I am also interested in computer science and entertainment management.

Interests

I am interested in researching and writing about music technology subjects that cover topics relating to obscure hardware and software that allows music creators to expand their sonic palette and go beyond what has already been done.

One of my areas of expertise is in data flow programming - particularly Max/MSP and PureData I wish to contribute to Wikipedia's shared knowledge of these applications. I am also an avid user of text-based sonic programming languages like Csound, and look forward to contributing information as to how these technologies can be used together.

I am intrigued by musical genres, and how different groups of pieces become categorized in different ways. I believe the definition of newer genres, especially in the electronic field, are evolving at an extremely fast pace.
