Josh came up through the Scunthorpe United F.C. youth system
Following Scunthorpe United F.C. Lacey joined Gainsborough Trinity F.C. in the National League North and went on to make over 185 appearances for the club, including 2 appearances in the FA Cup first round
Lacey Joined Scarborough Athletic F.C. for the start of the 18/19 season
