ChargeNaija is a Music, entertainment and News website in Africa.^[1] Headquartered in Umuahia, Nigeria, its social footprint has grown through its collective brands - ChargeNaija.com, ChargeNaija Music and ChargeNaija Entertainment - to be the largest on the African continent with more than 200 million impressions each month.

History[edit]

ChargeNaija was founded by Chukwuemeka Bright popularly known as "Brito C" in 2020 as a media startup which later metamorphosed into ChargeNaija.com while studying for her undergraduate degree at the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada. The platform was founded to showcase the evolving Nigerian and African Music in a way that was truly representative of the exciting positive developments in the Entertainment industry. Bright maintained a low profile, with his identity hidden, but still work as the best until ChargeNaija began to have over 1 million hits every month, at which time he unveiled the personality behind the brand.

Community Impact and support has been the core of the ChargeNaija brand, as it reaches out to the communities through its foundation #Bright Foundation.
