"I will work hard for our community and for the city of Ottawa, and towards the development of schools, and aiding our children in different ways." We can work together to: - Working towards improving producers at Ontario works and at ODCSP (Ontario Disability Support Program.) - Lowering property taxes, and try to find new plans for these taxes applications. - Strenghten our police and try to put plans to prevent crimes in Ottawa. - Keep our streets clean and safe, and work towards safe environment. - Work towards affordable housing and discuss discrimination problems in the Ottawa Housing. - Working towards decreasing the poverty in our city and try to help these poor people in different ways by establishing new plans for overcoming this poverty in some communities in Ottawa. - Working towards better Ontario works and try to increase payments. - Working for preventing of abusing women, seniors, and children in Ottawa. - Develop strong community facilities by investing in daycare and senior citizen residences. - Helping new comers to settle in Ottawa and to know the services of the City of Ottawa. - Establish tax incentives for small business owners. - Develop criteria for disabled people and increase their monthely payment in order to let them live adequate lives. - Increase tourism in Ottawa by addressing transportation and city maintenance issues. - Promote French and English languages (as official languages of Canada) to be used in future by most population of Ottawa as it is our National Capital. - Promote new developments that respect and protect our cultural and natural spaces. - Working towards better Sports Communities and better health. You can vote if: - You are a resident of Ottawa, property owner or tenant, or the spouce of such an owner tenant . - You are a Canadian citizen. - You are at least 18 years old.
