Agnes Letestu is a French ballerina in the Paris Opera Ballet. She was born in 1971 and started ballet as a hobby. Her teacher, Mr.Bertin persuaded her to audition for the Opéra Ballet School which she joined when she was 10. She was a shy but graceful pupil and was destined to be at the top of the company. She quickly became première danseuse (December 1993), and étoile since October 1997.

Awards: Golden Medal of the Eurovision Dance Prize in 1989. Gold Medal of the Varna dance competition in 1990.

Future career: Agnes Letestu is nearly at the end of her ballerina career but she hopes to continue to live her passion for ballet through teaching.
