During the 1980s and 1990s i was employed by Streetsound magazine, as a writer, then editor and then in the late 90s as co-publisher. In 2020 I published an archive site for the magazine, https://streetsoundmagzine.com/. The site is a hobby site with the goal of digitizing the extensive print archive I maintain. I was not paid to write my article on Streetsound, and my motivation was tied to my subject matter expertise in early dance music history and the role Streetsound played in that history.
