This is not a sandbox. I deliberately create it with some objective, i.e., a list of the sandboxes, which I will probably utilize for testing, and practicing writing (or expanding) an article.

List[edit]

  • 1Snub disphenoid: finding the source for the construction and applications, refactoring the sections according to the footnote, and thinking about the related polyhedron.[1]
  • 2 — preparation of GA Pentagonal pyramid
  • 3 — planning for improvement of Commutative property before heading to the GAR.
  • 4
  • 5

Aftermath[edit]

  • Gyroelongated square bipyramid — done implementing, but needs to find more about its applications, if possible, before nominating to GA.[1]
  • List of Johnson solids — something is missing: is there any way to find the volume of a polyhedron other than involving base and height, and slicing off and adding up, as in snub disphenoid and other solids?
  • Pentagonal bipyramid — missing sources for its dual, and the right and oblique of pentagonal bipyramids.[1]
  • Regular icosahedron — more sourcing and more expansion of the article.[1]
  • Triangular bipyramid — done implementing. Before nominating to GA, perhaps check the verifiability of sources, and perhaps find more sources on surface area and volume of the non-regular one (should we?). Aside from that, I'm very skeptical about the section "graph"; should this be removed and merged into the properties section?[1]

Notes[edit]

  1. ^ a b c d e I do think this article is one of the eight articles that may included as part of WP:GT. The only problem is WIAFT#1b, a topic must have articles or lists with the same or similar topical scope ("Construction" --> "Properties" --> "Graph" --> "Related polyhedron/Dual polyhedron" --> "Applications" if one of them is possible to exist). The GT here is the convex deltahedron:
