Dlcortho7889, Hi, I am from Glasgow, Scotland an academic orthodontist as well as an orthodontic consultant. I am about to begin a journey with a group of undergraduate students with the aim of improving the information on Orthodontics on Wikipedia. Orthodontics is the best Specialty in Dentistry and aims to produce normal (ortho) teeth (dontics), but it is much more than that. We can intercept developing problems, promote growth and eruption of jaws and teeth, correct clefts and facial deformity in combination with surgical colleagues. It is constantly changing with new technology and is constantly challenging. I am hoping to learn new techniques to engage my students and pass on my enthusiasm for Orthodontics.
