I am here to represent human dignity, journalistic accountability and to investigate edits that particularly affect living people. Biographies

I Am Against:

- Misleading information presented as news

- Sensational claims used as third-party citations on statements relating to living persons; such as blogs that are opinion-driven and subject to all kinds of external interests and speculation

- Fabrications, half-truths, original research, Cyberstalking

- Tabloid journalism that has no basis in fact but is presented as being factually accurate. This style of news reporting encourages biased or emotionally loaded impressions of events rather than neutrality and may cause a manipulation to the truth of a story. leaning towards Sensationalism

- Celebrity / Gossip magazine and content made by amateur writers paid by page views and other factors, self-published, user-generated content that lacks editorial oversight

I Believe In:

- truthfulnessaccuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness, and public accountability

- Accredited journalism - Ethics of Journalism, recommends that journalists respect the presumption of innocence, in particular in cases that are still sub_judice

- Right to a fair trial and Moral imperative

- The principle of "limitation of harm." This may involve the withholding of certain details from reports, such as the names of minor children, crime victims' names, or information not materially related to the news report where the release of such information might, for example, harm someone's reputation.

Essential:

The presumption of innocence is a legal right of the accused in a criminal trial. It is also an international human right under the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 11

Reminder:

Defamation and the addition of non-encyclopedic personal data are subject to legal action, the responsibility lies with the person who adds the information
