Paternal family being "rich peasants" in Panyu supporting Kuomintang ; all murdered by the Chinese Communist Government during land reform in the 1950s except my father who escaped to the British Colony of Hong Kong
Maternal family being Malaysian Chinese in Sibu, Sarawak , with ancesters from Gutian (古田, Bàng-uâ-cê : Kŭ-chèng ), Fujian
Lived in Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island ever since birth
Received education at St. Margaret Mary's Kindergarten (Happy Valley ), St. Joseph's College Primary School (Wan Chai ) and St. Joseph's College (Central )
Currently a final year medical student at the University of Hong Kong

Self-taught tenor, singing at Hong Kong Voices , a local leading chamber choir
