Howdy.[edit]

I'm a long-time Wikipedia advocate, but only recently got around to signing up for an account. Alas, many of my tiny edits over the years will be attributed to the many floating IP addresses I consumed as I moved from apartment to apartment throughout college. Oh well.

In November of 2007 I started working on a personal project, now known as GymWiki. As the name would imply, GymWiki is a wiki about strength-training topics. We used JAMWiki as the base software, rather than MediaWiki, simply because JavaScript is my native language. (The first words I ever spoke were "function onclick()". Don't ask how I managed to pronounce a parenthesis) Regardless of your standpoint in the JavaScript vs. PHP vs. EverythingElse war, you can feel free to read more about GymWiki here -- keep in mind that it's a work in progress, only getting my attention when I have nothing better to do with my time.

Unfortunately, with the untimely passing of my partner-in-crime, Troy "ShelfLife" Niven, work on GymWiki has all but ceased. The website was (and still is) hosted on his server, which is locked, and the password taken with Troy literally to his grave. Shelf would have wanted me to continue the website in his name, so that's what I plan on doing -- just as soon as I've managed to crack into his server.

You can see the list of stuff I am doing (or plan on doing) here. If I can do you any kind of service, feel free to throw it up on my talk page. Cheers.
