Many of the biggest financial decisions of our lives are heavily influenced by market-leading companies; finding a job, renting or buying property, choosing insurance, buying a car. Yet non-promotional coverage of these companies and their activities is often lacking. They also often try bury unfavourable coverage.

In a similar vein, high-reach media companies or well known journalists are impactful on society, yet are often not critically covered in an unbias, factual manner.

My goal here in Wikipedia is to try address this. To provide wholistic, fact based views of high-impact brands in areas that can have a significant impact on the lives of millions. My day job is a market-researcher, so I have expertise in these areas. My main focus is on European companies.

I also cover sports (personal passion), where I mostly expand on stub articles.

I support the goals of the WikiProject Women and plan to set aside some time for Women in Red.
