Volume 1 1. The Green Seat A strange boy with the ability to bring to life what he draws with his left arm is haunted by a mysterious past. Will Ginko be able to uncover his past? 2. The Soft Horns A boy who has horns is dying and Ginko is on a mission to find a cure for it before he dies like his mother before him. 3. The Pillow Lane A farmer’s dreams become real so he gets medicine from Ginko. When he doesn’t take the medicine, disaster strikes. 4. The Light of the Eyelids A little girl can not stand light and complains of seeing a river of light that she wants to go to… Can Ginko figure out the problem before it’s too late? 5. The Traveling Swamp A girl becomes part of a swamp and Ginko becomes quite curious as to what is happening.
Volume 2 6. The Mountain Sleeps Ginko hears the story of a mushishi who is forced to guard a mountain forever. 7. The Sea of Brushes Ginko meets a girl who is cursed to write scrolls. 8. Those Who Inhale the Dew A girl is called a god by her people but there seems to be a dark conspiracy on the island she lives on. 9. The Rain Will Come, A Rainbow Will Form A man who is chasing rainbows meets up with Ginko who finds out that there is more to the story. 10. Cotton Spores Ginko meets a strange child with a rash and his brothers seem to also have strange qualities to them…
Volume 3 11. The Sound of Rust Rust is covering a town and people a girl is being blamed for it. Is she innocent or guilty? 12. Where Sea Meets Man A woman vanishes in a sea due to strange snakes and her husband mourns her death, not knowing what to do. 13. The Heavy Grain A strange town has an extremely bountiful harvest, but people seem to be dying one by one… 14. White In the Ink Stone A few kids mess around with Adashino’s collection and suffer grave consequences for it. Can Ginko help Adashino and the kids? 15. The Fish Gaze A boy named Yoki is traveling on his way alone but is aided by a woman named Nui. But what is the secret she hides from him?
Volume 4 16. Picking the Empty Cocoon Two girls are able to see a special mushi that assists in delivering letters to mushishi, little do they know the danger it can cause and soon enough one of them has vanished. 17. One-Night Bridge A girl fell off a mysterious bridge and now she just stares into space much to the sadness of her mother and lover. Can Ginko bring her back to normal? 18. Spring and Falsehoods A boy is able to find spring in the middle of winter, but somehow it is hazardous to his health. Can Ginko help? Or will he succumb to the sickness too? 19. In the Cage A man is unable to leave a forest for some reason he can not figure out. His wife and kid can not either… 20. The Sound of Trodden Grass Every year a group of wandering people called the Watari come down a mysterious mountain to stay for a while, but the “master” of the mountain is not pleased.
Volume 5 21. The Sea Palace Ginko investigates rumors of mysterious ‘rebirths’. What are these and why will no one tell him about them? 22. Eye’s Fortune, Eye’s Misfortune A strange woman corners Ginko in a city and needs his help with a mushi problem… 23. The Coat That Holds a Mountain A man who is trying to be a painter works his way up the ladder and becomes famous, but he neglects his family in the process and suffers terrible consequences. 24. Flames of the Fields A mushishi wants to burn mushi and kill them but Ginko has other plans. 25. The Snake of Dawn A boat man asks Ginko for help with his forgetful mother. Can Ginko really help?
Volume 6 26. Heaven’s Thread A boy fascinated by stars and his nanny notices a string from the sky and she disappears. 27. The Chirping Shell A girl’s father tells her to stay away from the villagers but won’t say the reason… Why won’t her let her meet the villagers? 28. The Hand That Pets the Night A man has the ability to get animals to come from him using a scent from his hands. 29. Under the Snow Ginko comes to a village to study mushi in the snow and finds a boy who has snow always fall on him. 30. Banquet in the Farthest Field A young sake brewer is trying to follow his father’s footsteps of being a sake brewer but one day he stumbles upon a strange happening…
Volume 7 31. Bewitched by a Flower A beautiful woman is sick and Ginko suspects that a sakura tree that won’t bloom has something to do with it… 32. The Mirror Pool A lovesick girl has lost her reflection and Ginko must stop the mushi that are at work. 33. At the Foot of Lightning Ginko finds a boy who has been affected by a strange mushi that causes him to be struck by lightning. 34. The Ragged Road (Part One) Ginko is called to investigate a strange area, where there is an abnormality of the mushi. Meanwhile, a boy is taken to learn how to see the mushi and to stop an ancient evil. 35. The Ragged Road (Part Two) Ginko and his allies must stop this ancient evil before it’s too late…
