Otto Engine - Governor and Fuel Intake Cam

The fuel injectors is having a lead role in diesel engine or compression ignition engines. Starting with mechanical operated injectors, now they have taken many versions. The present day injectors are electronically operated. The major types are as follows. common rail injector, unit injectors etc.,^[1]

The requirement of high injection pressure made us to think of new type of injectors.

Even the stringent atmospheric pollution policy enabled us to get in to automotive system which can contribute less polltuant to the atomosphere.

Even then the present indian government is making policies to introduce electric vehicles, especially electric cars by 2020.

The government is planning to give subsidies for the customers who are buing electric cars.

The government also planning to have atleast 20 to 30% vehicles as electric vehicles by the end of 2020.^[2]
