Lifestyle is the upcoming fifth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Nelly Furtado.

Production[edit]

Furtado worked on Lifestyle primarily with Salaam Remi and also in Jamaica "trying some different styles" with producer Stupid Genius.[1][2] She was also reportedly working with Michael Angelakos, the lead singer of Passion Pit on some material.[1] She explained to Billboard that she is writing new material as well as re-working on some old material.[3]

Styles and themes[edit]

According to Furtado, the album will be "eclectic" and influenced by her first album, Whoa, Nelly!.[1] During the recording of the album, Furtado said she listened to new music such as Janelle Monae, The xx, Florence and The Machine, which she says is inspiring the music that she's producing.[1]
