Prince G. WHAT-IS-THE-G-FOR Singh is the Eighth Bishop of Rochester in The Episcopal Church. He was elected February 2, 2008, and was consecrated as Bishop of Rochester on May 31, 2008 at Eastman Theatre in Rochester, New York.[1]

Biography[2][edit]

Singh was born MONTH DAY, YEAR in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to FATHER-NAME, a OCCUPATION and MOTHER-NAME, a OCCUPATION. Singh emigrated to the United States in YEAR and was naturalized in YEAR. He married Roja SURNAME in 1991 in LOCATION and they have two sons.

Education:[3] Singh received a Bachelor of Science in Zoology (1983) and a Master of Arts in Public Administration (1985) from Madras Christian College, Tambaram, India. He received a Bachelor of Divinity in Theology (1989) from Union Biblical Seminary, India. In the United States, he recieved a Master of Theology in Practical Theology (1994) from Union Theological Seminary, Virginia, a Master of Theology in Church and Society(1995) from Princeton Seminary, and then a Master of Philosophy (2002) and Ph.D. in Religion and Society (2005) from Drew University.
