Bio[edit]

I'm a current student in Everett community college and a mother for two wonderful kids. I'm from Kurdistan, it is a state or a region in the north of Iraq, my native language is Kurdish. I like to share and to communicate with others. I like to cook and follow world news. I was work as a teacher in my country, now I like to finish my degree and to graduate in the early childhood education field. There are many struggles and barriers in my life, make me feel disappointed and give up, but I like to be brave and win the life challenge for a better future for me and my kids.

I like to search in Wikipedia and read through it when I'm looking for general information on some topics. Wikipedia is helpful to give me the general idea of the subject.

Thank you for visiting my user page.

Article evaluation[edit]

I read this article about a sleep disorder diagnostic tool, which is called the multiple sleep latency test (MSLT).  It is used to distinguish between physical tiredness and true excessive daytime sleepiness. I visited the Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) page on Wikipedia and found three aspects of it worth commenting on: there is brief information about the topic, scientific facts behind sleep disorder, and it's lack of citation.

Brief information about the topic[edit]

Due to the importance of this topic, I expected to found a lot of information, experiences and scientific facts behind sleep disorders in some people, but I found a few explanations about the causes of this disease and a lot of emphasis on ways to treat it in different ways. On this page, there is a piece of brief information for who interested to discover sleep disorders or who are facing this problem and need treatments.

Few scientific facts behind sleep disorder[edit]

As a person who faced this problem for a while, I didn't find enough information about scientific facts and evidence about (MSLT). "to assess whether treatments for breathing disorders are working" this sentence made me ask if this tool is really work to treat this disorder or its just possibilities.

Lack of citation[edit]

Lack of citation and references because I found just one real site on this page to find more information and to find other sites who related to this topic. The good thing is this page are improved by Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT) - Testing Process & Results". American Academy of Sleep Medicine. And it is retrieved at 8 September 2014.

Summary[edit]

Finally, I found this page is not very bad, but it needs to contain more details and information. I think, I can't decide if this is a reliable source for this subject or not. Generally, this page gives a general idea about a test for the people who has a sleep disorder and the procedures of how this test is can work to prepare for the test.
