Hersheypark In The Dark is a fall seasonal event which takes place in the last two or three weekends of October and possibly the first weekend of November depending on how dates are in the calendar year. The event began solely as Creatures of the Night at ZooAmerica in 1980. Eventually, Hersheypark began operating rides on Kissing Tower Hill, and then switching to the main entrance of the park to allow more rides to be open. Hersheypark renamed the event "Hersheypark In The Dark" in 1998, while Creatures of the Night still continues in ZooAmerica as of 2015.
