World War I (29 June 1913-), often abbreviated as WWI, was one of the deadliest global conflicts. The war was fought between two coalitions, one of Britain, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, and other nations, against one of France, Russia, Austria-Hungary, and the remaining members of the Balkan League.
