Adam Jerrett is a Multimedia Honours student and lecturer at the University of Pretoria, as well as a singer-songwriter. His interest in Wikipedia article creation and editing stems from his coursework in IMY 772, a course in Adaptive hypermedia presented by Kosie Eloff.
Background[edit]
Adam Jerrett was born on 13 April, 1992, in London, England, though he currently resides in Pretoria, South Africa, having moved there with his parents in 1997. Jerrett, still, however, considers himself British by Nationality, and maintains British citizenship with his permanent residence in South Africa. Jerrett is an avid singer-songwriter who, by this own admission, "spends most of [his] days daydreaming and writing them down".
Personal Life[edit]
Jerrett is currently single, splitting the majority of his time between work, his studies, his music and a love of games. Jerrett still lives with his parents, though he plans to move out, and ideally buy an apartment with the money he received from winning Sing 'It, a competition sponsored by Sanlam and Litnet for aspiring songwriters. His song, Once More, With Feeling, was chosen by 3rd World Spectator to be recorded, and was subsequently voted the fan-favourite.
