Mission

This page is being created as a place for discussion of issues relating to circumstances in which editors believe that political correctness and or strongly held political or social biases may be acting in ways detrimental to the project, either by having undue influence in content or excessive attention to individual editors. While we acknowledge that there are already places like the NPOVN and other locations here, we also acknowledge that it is sometimes, perhaps often, the case that discussions relating to issues there can be intentionally or unintentionally hijacked by one side or another, sometimes to the degree that a false consensus seems to be reached. This page is also intended to serve as a place for discussion where individual editors who some believe are being particularly targeted by editors of contrary beliefs can be discussed, with support, encouragement, and alternative approaches to difficult circumstances proposed. It is not the intention or spirit of this page or its attached talk page to violate any policies or guidelines, and the editor whose userspace this is in, as well as other individuals he may designate, are authorized by extant policies and guidelines to remove or refactor any comments which they believe inappropriate.

Contractees

The following individuals agree to abide by the terms of usage of this page and the associated talk page. They are, simply, that while discussion is to be free and fair, it is also to be as much as possible free of what might be considered personal attacks on other individual editors, and that any and all revisions to comments made here by the designated managers of this page are to be considered final. Said managers also give their word that no such actions will be taken lightly or rashly, and that the user whose userspace this lies in can remove such manager status by fiat, including his own personal status, if the page is ultimately chosen to be moved to another user's space or into some other space in wikipedia.
