Li started posting her videos on Meipai in 2015.[1] As of 2020, she has over 9 million subscribers on YouTube, 23 million followers on Sina Weibo, and has inspired many bloggers to post similar content.[2][3][1][4]

Li's videos contain subtitles describing the dishes she prepares. Her most viewed YouTube video, titled "Peanut and melon seeds, dried meat, dried fruit, snowflake cake - snacks for Spring Festival," has received over 48 million views. [5]
