I grew up in Telford, Shropshire. The town is named after the engineer Thomas Telford, who built the famous Ironbridge which is located just outside the town.

Telford is a new town comprising many smaller towns including Wellington, Oakengates, Madeley, Dawley and Ketley. The town centre includes Telford Shopping Centre and the surrounding Telford Town Park. I grew up in Wellington and attended Ercall Wood Technology College that was later renamed Ercall Wood School.
