Camusian & Kafkaesque in nature, ethical and diligent in Wikipedia edit choices.

Hello! I do my best, but please let me know if I make a mistake. I am open to trout slapping should it be necessary (see above!)

"Rory" (born 21 March), better known as LemurLiterature, is an Australian Wikipedia editor. He is interested in music, history (particularly music history), astronomy, animals, writing, theatre, and comedy, aiming to improve articles in these categories.

He tends to make copyediting and citation edits, as well as revert vandalism to the best of his ability. He will often patrol Recent Changes, or spend time bringing long-forgotten or orphan articles to as a high a standard as he can. He has a native understanding of English.

Rory endeavours to be as friendly as possible to everyone who interacts with him, but has anxiety and autism, and may take a while or adopt an odd tone when communicating with you (and for this, he apologises profusely).

He is a student and edits in his spare time - although at the moment, he's spending the time that should be spent studying on Wikipedia. His username is inspired by his first edit - a simple grammatical fix on the page of the black-and-white ruffed lemur.

Personal life[edit]

Border Collie in question.

Rory has a Border Collie named Auggie.

He is a fan of several bands, notably Weezer, Joy Division, Blur, Echo and the Bunnymen, Arctic Monkeys, and Car Seat Headrest. He has a wide collection of somewhat useless knowledge associated with them, amongst other bands.

He studies music history, journalism, and literature. Rory writes songs and illustrates in his spare time, when he is not listening to or researching music (or editing Wikipedia). He also plays electric guitar.

He is fascinated by nuclear pasta and Wes Anderson films.

Rory is an advocate for sustainability, particularly in schools and local communities. He also believes strongly in transgender rights and has no respect or tolerance for transphobia of any kind.
