I've started this page as part of my coursework as a Masters student at the Longy School of Music. I'm hoping to write about Balinese gamelan ensembles in the United States. Currently I am looking at the site for the American Gamelan Institute. On this site there is a listing of different gamelans (by state and the specific kind of gamelan that it is) around the country. I've decided to hopefully, add on to the page about "Facade" set to music by Walton. I was hoping to expand some of the page, or add on my own page, some "soundbites" and some more text. Perhaps some of the music, however, as we discussed, I'm not sure how this all works with copyright. I guess that I'll be finding this all out very soon!
