Christian Staebler is diplomed from the "Arts Decoratifs from Strasbourg, France". he is a graphic designer and illustrator, working as free-lance since 1991. He is doing layouts for books, magazines, industrial booklets, packagings. In his personal works what comes always first is Nature. He wants to show that each little piece of Nature can bring amzing beauties. This purpose is coming out in his illustrations, photos and scannographies. "My purpose was, a few years ago, to scan every plant and animal I found in my garden. I wanted to create some digital herbarium. I work on it since 6 years now and, although the garden isn't very big, I haven't finished yet and surely never will… I now have hundreds of scannographies and have fun to mix, copy and paste to create strange landscapes…" the scannography site
