Hi, my name is Marlo and I am a PhD researcher in History at the University of Cambridge. I am interested in the history of fashion, women, and the Court in Late Seventeenth-Century England and Europe.
My current research project looks specifically at elite women and fashionable society, but I have previously worked on early modern cosmetics, beauty, and the portrait painter Peter Lely. Aside from my research project, I am also interested in dress and texture history more broadly, pop culture, theatre, and other elements of early modern history.
