Some brief biographical detail:

I was born in London, UK, in 1971, but mostly raised in the North West of England and North Wales.

I have been settled in the Levenshulme district of Manchester since 2005. Since 1997 I have worked for cardboard manufacturers Smurfit Kappa (including their previous incarnation in the UK under the name AssiDoman). I work in the IT department, and am based at their plant in Stalybridge, to the east of Manchester.

Since autumn 2010 I have moved to part-time working, in order to make time to do a Masters Degree in Philosophy at the University of Manchester. As I am also doing the degree part-time, it won't finish until September 2012. After this date I will have some free time, which I would maybe like to use to contribute to Wikipedia, mainly by adding to its philosophy content.
