I was born and started school in Chula Vista Elementary School District in California. Then I moved north and east, to another part of San Diego county, but I came back to Chula Vista Elementary School District and taught for over twenty-five years.

My main interest is in reforming education. In pursuing that goal, I've become interested in how powerful people are able to keep information secret.
