2006/07 Ashes series

original article: contains key information on dates, teams, history and ticketing sales.

If you had created this article first - what would you have done differently?

I would have added information on the history of the Ashes, especially the recent context of the heated Ashes series in 2005. I also would have set out the Wikipedia page sections that would be required, including team lists and the sections to record the game statistics/report.

If you were the second reader, how would you have edited the article?

The first substantial edit updated the page with information on the framework for the summer. The editor also added information, most significantly the context of the two captains, Ricky Ponting and Andrew Flintoff, leading into the series. If i was the second editor, i would have created the sections in the Wikipedia page, including ticket sales, match details, tour matches ect. I also would have added some context, including recent matches, the history of the Ashes, and the state of the two teams heading into the series, including recent form, in and outside of the Ashes.
