I am chiefly interested in (and have read extensively in) science fiction, fantasy and horror. I've published articles and interviews in peer-reviewed journals, so I have a good sense of what is topic-worthy and whether a source is respectable.

I've written essay-reviews on sound effects in movies, cat behavior, and other topics. I'm also interested in Buffy the Vampire Slayer; humor and comedy, heist films, parodies, Saturday Night Live, postmodern literature, mystery fiction, and movie-making.
