Fire extingusher The simplest fire extingusher is soda acid type of fire extigusher.in this, the property of acid to liberte carbondioxide on reacting with carbonates and biocarbonates of metal is utilized .as the gas carbon dioxide is evolved with brisk effervescence,it extingushes the fire when realised over it

     there are three parts in fire extingusher:

》container 》bottle 》knob

 The container of Fire extinguisher is cylindrical in shape. It contain sodium bicarbonate solution. the small bottle contains concentrated sulphuric acid.This bottle is attached to the knob.
  For the chemical reaction to take place the knob is struck. The bottle breaks the sulphuric acid with Sodium Bicarbonate limiting large amount of CO2 gas with great force. It forms the blanket around the Fire,cutting off the air supply,due to which the fire gets extingushed. 
  some other type of fire extingusher are:

》Foam fire extingusher,effective for fire caused by solid and liquis. 》Dry powder fire extingusher,effective for fire caused by liquid and faulty electric wires.
