From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello, I am Onionhound. I began adding to Wikipedia in September of 2005, mostly with articles about Guam. Wikipedia is a wonderful tool, and I hope to be a useful contributor.

Articles I've created[edit]

Articles to which I have made major contributions[edit]

These are the articles I have written or contributed at least a few paragraphs of text to. I'd appreciate you taking a look to try to further improve them.

To do[edit]

Gladly, there is no shortage of new articles that need to be written. This is just a list of fun things I can write about when I'm in the mood. You can help out by filling in these important holes.

Coconut leaves-these have been used to make things from baskets to roofs in tropical regions all over the globe.

Black rice-This truly spectacular food needs a spectacular page.

Jasmine rice-Can you believe this doesn't have a page. It's one of the most popular types of rice where I live.

Long-grain rice and Short-grain rice-Can you believe they don't have articles on the two basic types of the most important food in the world.

Mongkut-He's Mongkut, one of the greatest and most fascinating king's ever! He deserves a better page.

Chakri dynasty-The current Thai dynasty deserves better.

Chulalongkorn-He led Thailand into the modern world. He deserves a real article.

Friarocracy-This is the best term to describe the Spanish administration of the Philipines and it doesn't have a page!

A Vindication of the Rights of Woman-One of the most important books ever writen only has a little stub. Articles on Mary Wollstonecraft and her other works could all use expanded articles.

Coconut milk-This is an essential item no good kitchen should be without. It needs a far more extensive article.

Sweet potatoe pie and Peach cobbler-For Black Americans these are some of the most commonly made desserts.

Neckbones and Pig's feet are also soul food but are actually eaten all over the world. I have no idea how they don't have articles yet.

Leaf vegetable-does no one like vegetables enough to write a longer article on greens?

Coralline rock-I got this off the top of the community to do list, so I'm sure an article will be written before I get to it. It's an important topic since most of my island is made of it.

Guam-I could always write more about Guam. Leaders like Antonio Borja Won Pat and Angel Santos and Chamorro foods and cultural practices could use articles.

There are also cities in China, Turkey and elsewhere, major foreign corporations like Haier and topics in engineering that should have better articles, but those tasks have no end in sight. Still, I'm sure eventually we'll have those topics better covered.
