OrionArisen is a gamefaqs user who ends his posts with a pokemon. He has went through several accounts since becoming a major player on WoT. The reason he ends his posts with a pokemon is because he made a wager with the user Trickslapper. The terms of the wager are unclear, but what is known is that he has to end his posts with a pokemon until June 30th 2007.

Gimmick Origins

However, the terms have recently be renegotiated and the time has been increased to September 30th 2007 due to him losing an additional wager.

The meaning behind the gimmick

He has stated that there is a pattern that he uses when not on WoT or the Starcraft Brood War general board. Here it is:

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Grass-type = He doesn't like the topic creator.

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Water-type = He does like the topic creator.

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Normal-type = He doesn't know who the topic creator is, and the topic creator should post his alt if he has one.

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Dragon-type = He's marked someone in the topic/Someone is on his blacklist.

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Flying-type = He doesn't care about the topic creator.

-If the pokemon he is ending his post with is of the Psychic-type = LEGENDARY USER.

Blacklist

Originally on WoT he had a topic where he listed users on his blacklist. He didn't state what the user had done to get on the blacklist, or what happens once someone is on his blacklist. It eventually got moderated for trolling and it was assumed that he stopped doing the blacklist. However recent posts have indicated that the blacklist still exists, but is now for his eyes only.
