This is the user page for P M Yonge. I use Wikipedia a lot for all sorts of information, both for personal interest and for work. I am fluent in Japanese and German apart from my native English, and can also read French. I lived in Japan for about 20 years in the context of Protestant missionary work, but am now based in London, UK. I only edit articles occasionally, and it's usually to make corrections of grammar, punctuation, or sentence structure: as a linguist by training, I care about good language. I hope to contribute to articles related to Japan, or to Christian issues, in the future.
